9. YOUR WORLDVIEW SHIFTING POST

WHAT DO I KNOW THAT OTHERS AREN’T AWARE OF?

If you want to create a post that literally changes the way your audience or your industry views the world, your service, the journey to their desired outcome, you need to be able to answer this question.

The answers to this question provide you with all the information you need to share with a prospect in order for them to believe that they really need your thing.

I recommend that you write out at least 10 things that you’re aware of, that your market may not be paying attention to.

Keep in mind that I’m not asking you to come up with ideas/arguments/facts that no one has ever heard of, the truth is that you won’t be able to find anything that hasn’t been discovered before, Instead I want you to focus on explaining these ideas from your point of view and how they impact your industry.

Examples:

  • Instagram/fb outreach is the best method to leverage when reaching out to brands, since there are customer service reps being paid to make sure that your inquiry gets forwarded to the right department
  • Charging one time fee for three months is easier than signing a monthly retainer for 3 months. It also helps you collect capital upfront.
  • Leveraged consultant model is infinitely much better than an agency model
  • Delegating your outreach increases your probability of success.
  • Etc

Once you have 10+ ideas or facts, I want you to pick one and elaborate on the idea to create your worldview shifting post following the structure below.

Structure of the post

Headline:

  • Mention the idea
  • Mention how it’s a crucial component in the attainment of their desired outcome or in getting rid of their biggest obstacle

Story:

  • Describe the situation ( obstacle dealt with, impact in your or customer’s life) before you learned about this insight
  • Old way VS New way: Describe the industry’s current standards, norms, outdated processes when it comes to solving the problem(s) that your new insight solves. Explain that it isn’t the best way to go about things anymore.
  • Describe how you learned about the insight - was it through experience, did you learn it from a different industry, did you read it in a book, etc
  • Describe the outcome of applying this insight in their business
  • Describe how it has personally helped you realize or achieve your or your customers desired outcome.

Encourage the audience to start leveraging this insight:

Once you’re done sharing the potency of your insight, add a little section where you encourage the people reading to implement what you just shared with them.
