It’s important for you to have an optimized profile because before anyone responds to your cold DM, they’ll check out your profile and see if you’re someone they should pay attention to!
YOUR BIO:
The bio is the first thing people will read about you when they get on your profile, so it can’t be anything generic or a basic headline that everyone in your niche uses.
It needs to incorporate something personal (highest purpose), a headline about the transformation you offer and a link to your other business pages.
IMPORTANCE OF HIGHLIGHTS
I love highlights because I get to save my best stories that have gathered the most engagement and this really warms prospects up!
THE TYPE OF CONTENT I ADD AND THE IMPORTANCE OF THESE CONTENT:
- IGTV: If I were to suggest you to focus on one form of content on Instagram, I would tell you to only post IGTV.
These are so powerful because you have up to 15 minutes to sell your expertise and to cement your worldview.
I recommend making these when sharing customer testimonials, case studies or the process used to deliver the transformation to your customers.
- GOOD QUALITY PICTURES: Instagram is still a platform that is mainly run by pictures so please invest time in finding a good photographer to take great/clean pictures of you!
This will just give you more authority and make you seem like someone people can take seriously.
- REELS: I personally don’t use these, because I don’t have the time to create them but I believe these have a bigger potential in going viral than any other form of content on Instagram
