Purpose:
The main outcome you want to achieve by creating and sharing a transformation post is to bring awareness to the fact that youâve been able to crack the code when it comes to achieving the desired outcome of your audience.
Main concerns when it comes to transformation post:
- Should the post be about a customer transformation or your own? It can be about both, you can share your own transformation, if youâve been in the same shoes, been on the same journey and achieved what theyâre looking to achieve. If you havenât, then simply use a case study of a client going through the transformation.
- What if I donât have case studies? You shouldnât focus on what you donât have, focus on the insights and the stories that youâve consumed around your niche and create transformation posts out of them.

PARTS OF A TRANSFORMATION POST
- HEADLINE:
The headline is the most important part of the transformation post, as thatâs what people will look at to make a decision if the post is pertinent or not.
Figure out what is the most important subject, pain, problem that your industry deals with and leverage the following headline structures:
- HOW I ACHIEVED [DESIRED OUTCOME] AFTER HAVING DEALT WITH [COMMON OBSTACLE
- HOW [NEW MECHANISM] HELPED ME ACHIEVE [DESIRED OUTCOME OF THE INDUSTRY] WITHOUT HAVING TO DEAL WITH [OUTDATED/INEFFICIENT MECHANISM]
- HOW I WENT FROM [STRUGGLING WITH TO ACHIEVE DESIRED OUTCOME] TO ACHIEVING IT IN [SHORT TIME FRAME]
Example:
- Find out how I improved this ecom storeâs ROAS from 1.6X to 6X by simply introducing this new mechanism ( Agency)
- BACKSTORY:
Describing a common backstory in your transformation post is almost as important as sharing how you solved a problem and achieved the desired result.
It will be crucial for you to write 2-3 lines describing what obstacles you dealt with ( Or you customers), how it affected all areas of your life - Belief, confidence, relationships, capital, etc
- THE CORE CONCEPT OR THE MAIN THING:
The core concept is the one thing that your audience needs to understand and believe in, in order for all the dominos to fall into place.
If you're presenting a new mechanism, then it can be enough to change beliefs but if youâre not introducing anything new, you need to focus on providing BULLET points of the steps one would take to achieve/solve their problems and achieve their desired outcome.
Make sure you share 4 steps or less, the goal is to keep it clear and concise.
- BENEFITS - BIZ & OTHER AREAS:
This is where you share the benefits of solving the problem, of achieving the desired outcome, Like I covered in the WHY YOU worksheet, the real value comes from the subconscious desires that we all have for status, security, accepted, self confidence, take care of the ones we love, etc
So in this area, you share how this transformation has created beautiful benefits in the different areas of your life Or your customers life.
- ENCOURAGE, ALLAY FEARS:
Always end the post with a little bit of encouragement and communicating to those who are still dealing with the pain that it ends.
You can add a call to action to connect with you if they want to network
- ADDING PROOF:
If you have access to something visual that can prove this transformation, make sure to share it, please.
Proof will always be needed if you need to create trust.
