Volume Negates Luck:
Why is Volume so important when you’re looking to sell your offer, grow your business and achieve your goals?
I like to compare Volume to Gravity - imagine jumping out of the 100th floor of a building, the outcome is Certain and it is Death
I believe that if you do enough Volume - the outcome is certain too, the outcome of doing enough outreach and getting a lot of attention from your niche is Guaranteed success.
Definition of GRAVITY: the force that attracts a body toward the center of the earth, or toward any other physical body having mass.
The new definition of VOLUME: the force that attracts an offer toward a prospect or a group of prospects.
Why do most people fail to get enough traction to scale their offers/business when doing outbound prospecting?
Most people do not because they don’t have the right messages, the right channel, or the right offer, they fail because they fail to realize the amount of volume required to sell their services/products.
Here is the journey of most agency owners/entrepreneurs who fail:
Step 1: They copy an offer/niche that is proven in the current market - an offer that has been sold by someone else.
Step 2: They expect to see success pretty easily as the other entrepreneur(s) in their niche is killing it.
Step 3: Due to their high expectations of success - they settle to sending themselves 10-20-50 DMs/emails (or allocating $500-$1000 on ads) in the hopes to scale to 10k-20k per month or more.
Step 4: They go 6 months before signing their first client - they stop doing outreach - they lose that client 2 months later.
Step 5: They start back with 20-50 DMs or a few hundred dollars on ads and the cycle repeats.
How can you avoid this trap and make it Unreasonable for you to fail with your outbound prospecting campaign?
If you planned to send 500 DMs/emails per month - Find a way to send 5000 DMs/Emails - touchpoints.
If you planned to send 10 looms to close a client - Aim/expect to send 100 looms to close a single client.
The 10X rule from GC - It will take 10X the effort + time than you anticipated.
I personally make it Unreasonable to fail by always aiming for a revenue goal that is 10X what I initially thought of and this makes me build systems that can support and create the 10X goal, not my initial goal!
