Inversion Thinking Process:
Inversion is a way of thinking about what you want to achieve in reverse. In other words, instead of only thinking forward about what you need to do to get what you want, you'd flip it in reverse and think backward about what you don't want to happen.
Charlie Munger said that he is a collector of Inanities - to learn from it and to AVOID the mistakes!
Example of this process:
Your goal is to scale past 50k per month in the next 3-6 months.
A regular entrepreneur would make a list of strategies that they need to implement in order to scale past 50k per month and it would look like this:
- Craft an outbound prospecting campaign on Linkedin, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Build messages for the outreach campaign
- Build videos sales letters // evergreen videos
- Build/buy audiences
- Create content for the audience
- Take sales calls
- Perfect the onboarding process
The issue with such a process is that you don’t get to find your blind spots, you don’t go deep enough with the strategies for you to be able to avoid failure.
As you know there are many people out there who know more than you, know better tactics, email subject lines, video sales letters structures, they’re better at selling, better at everything than you, but somehow they’re still not able to get better results than you OR it’s the other way around, you know someone who knows less, with less experience but they’re ahead of you...
How is that possible?
Well, I believe that it’s due to them or you not having done a bit of inverting…
Because when you follow the Inversion thinking process, you get to go a bit Deeper than someone who is making a game plan on achieving his goal.
Find out the things that would keep you from achieving your goals:
- Lack consistency
- Lack market insights

OUTCOME: You make sure to stay away from the different things that can keep you from achieving your goal and you Make it Unreasonable for you to not achieve your goal ( 10k/month - 50k/month - 100k per/month - 1M/month)
